Down the Rabbit Hole

I have always been interested in the stranger things in the world. Unsolved, unexplained, clandestine knowledge. Raised by a card carrying conspiracy theorist father, and a skeptic southern baptist christian mother, my thought patterns followed closer to my father's, but my mothers influence gave me a bit of skepticism, (and no, i am not particularly religious, but that's a post for another time.)

All of that being said, i will admit i adhere to the belief of the more controversial than perhaps your average bear may. That's what sparked my desire to start this little project, i figured i would take my interest in the strange and topic by topic i would investigate what struck my fancy, and post a blog on my thoughts. So i started searching for things that i thought would lead me down a weird rabbit hole.

That rabbit hole turned out to be a runnel into the depths of hell.

The amount of conspiracy theories i came across was, honestly, mind numbing. There is a theory for anything any everything you can ever think of. Which ones hold water or not is another matter entirely, and up to personal opinion in a lot of cases. The level and frequency of paranormal events, credible paranormal events, is striking and was unexpected. There are some things that have absolutely happened that simply have no explanation that isn't paranormal, supernatural, or extraterrestrial (at least not yet).

Then things got scary as i dove into the depths of unsolved crime, unexplained disappearances, and declassified government documents. These are things that are proven to have happened, people just seemingly poof into thin air. Murders go unsolved FAR more often than i think most any average person would realize (or care to know). and the government admitted to doing, or at least considering, some of the most vile things i can comprehend.

Every discovery i came across fueled my fire to read more. The absurd theories or ideas made me laugh, the plausible ones made me think, the real uncovered horrors i came across made me angry, sad, ad curious.

And that spark i had to start this little project has grown into a brush-fire.

I cant wait to continue exploring this weird world and sharing it here.
